Orua Beach House is one of the best coastal wedding venues in the Coromandel, and it never fails to impress. With sweeping ocean views, private grounds, and a variety of epic photo locations, it provides an unbeatable backdrop. Tiffany and Nick made the most of everything the venue offers, from the gardens above to the dramatic cliffs that lead down to Orua Rock. It is one of those places that combines elegance with adventure, and their day reflected that balance perfectly.
As someone based in Mt Maunganui, I am lucky to be close to the Coromandel, and every chance to photograph weddings in this part of the country feels like a gift. The landscapes and coastline here are truly unique, and capturing a love story in the middle of such natural beauty is always inspiring. Coromandel Peninsula weddings have a magic to them that is hard to put into words, but Tiffany and Nick’s celebration captured it completely.
What made this Orua Beach House wedding even more meaningful for me was that Tiffany is a wedding photographer herself. Being asked to document the day of someone who knows the craft so well is an honour, and it meant so much to me to be trusted with capturing such important memories. It was a day filled with connection, joy, and the kind of love that is so effortless to photograph.
